We’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Summer Student to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:

 

  • Review past TA Electrical reports and create SAP notifications for outstanding items.
  • Organize and file electrical TA reports for each NRM facility in the E&IC repository.
  • Support reliability evaluation studies on the electrical infrastructure of facilities. Update and manage the existing reliability assurance catalog of the obsolete & critical electrical equipment.
  • Collect and file recent PM data for critical E&IC equipment across NRM facilities.
  • Assist in establishing Control System Reliability assurance program.
  • Draft electrical & controls ITP sign-off sheets.
  • Assist with E&IC work packages, supporting the E&IC engineer.
  • Manage and utilize NRM available Programs to support NRM Automation System infrastructures.
  • Provide assistance and support for writing and updating technical documentation.

What you bring:

Required

  • Currently enrolled in an electrical engineering program, preferably in the 2nd year or higher.
  • Valid BC drivers license and access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel between work sites.
  • Proficient in desktop tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • General programming knowledge.
  • Prior experience with the preparation of technical reports.

 

Preferred

  • PLC experience an asset.

Salary Range:

$54,080 - $66,560. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the student's field and year of study. 

 

Comments:

This roles location will either be Taylor, BC or Fort St. John, BC.
