We’re looking for a intermediate level resource to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:
Here is a sample of what your workday may look like:
- Monitor and control gas pipeline and facility operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance in compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards.
- Operate and monitor SCADA and DCS systems to support real‑time gas control activities and respond to abnormal or upset conditions.
- Coordinate daily with field operations, gas plants, maintenance, commercial teams, and customers to support operating requirements and manage system constraints.
- Utilize the Operations Management System (OMS) to support operational activities, documentation, and compliance within the area of responsibility.
- Support facility and system performance monitoring, including identification of optimization opportunities to maintain safe and reliable operations within regulatory limits.
- Participate in the development, review, and continuous improvement of operating procedures, making recommendations for updates or modifications as needed.
- Ensure operational activities align with approved procedures, standing orders, and permit requirements.
- Actively support health and safety programs by participating in safety meetings, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with operational stakeholders to ensure situational awareness and safe execution of work.

What you bring:
Required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial process plant, pipeline, or gas operations environment, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Experience working with SCADA and DCS systems in a monitoring or operational control capacity.
- Strong understanding of operations and/or technical procedures, with experience contributing to procedure development or revisions.
- Knowledge of industrial health and safety requirements, operational hazards, and safe work practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Work Management systems and operational documentation tools.
- Knowledge of incident management principles, including Incident Command System (ICS 100/200).
- Experience supporting projects or operational improvements in a gas control or operations environment.
- Experience working in or supporting a unionized operational environment, with an understanding of labour relations considerations.
Salary Range:
$50.10 - $63.19 /hour plus allowances and premiums. Total compensation is administered under the collective agreement.
Comments:
This is a unionized position with Unifor local 4960 and members accumulating seniority will be given first priority. Other members will be given consideration.
