We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Summer Student to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:

 

  • Maintain and update Vendor Master Data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review Accounts Payable transactions for correctness, identifying, and resolving various issues, including duplicate invoices.
  • Support the invoice payment process by managing invoices, field tickets, service entries, and validating contract rates.
  • Perform daily audits on high volumes of data to uphold data integrity.
  • Assist SES stream during planned outages.
  • Offer vacation coverage and contribute to special projects as assigned.
  • Occasionally assist the accounting team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.

What you bring:

Required

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with solid computer skills.
