Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for the right people to join our all-star team who will fit in with some of the best midstream Human Resources professionals in our industry. This is an integral role that assists multiple levels of leadership to maximize the effectiveness of our people and business. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:
Here is a sample for some of what your workdays may look like:
- Partners with management to achieve business results by providing strategic and tactical leadership, counsel and advice concerning employee and labour relations matters.
- Applies superior knowledge of labour relations principles and provides practical and strategic coaching and leadership to front-line management and Human Resources department on Collective Agreement interpretations and application as well as Human Resources’ policies and procedures.
- Manages and supports all labour relations activities, including the grievance process, performance management, disciplinary activities, attendance management and workplace accommodations.
- Functions as the lead member of the Collective Bargaining team. In collaboration with Operations, supports labour mandate development.
- Builds and maintains an effective working relationship with Union leadership, both nationally and locally.
- Ensures consistent implementation and interpretation of Human Resources’ policies and practices to achieve legislative and Collective Agreement compliance.
- Identifies, reviews and gives direction related to organizational and employment strategies to meet Human Resources’ requirements.
- Leads and supports workplace investigations; reports on findings including corrective action recommendations.
- Coordinates Human Resources’ programs as assigned and undertakes special projects related to Human Resources.

What you bring:
Required
- University degree in Human Resources Management or relevant discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Seven years’ experience in Human Resources function.
- Direct labour relations experience including Collective Bargaining.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects across departments and geographic areas.
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Team player able to adapt to changing priorities while effectively managing change.
- Proven track record in delivering on commitments and targets.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources’ policies, procedures, practices and Collective Agreements.
- Strong computer software and program-related skills (including Excel and Word) to produce spreadsheets and charts and complete other analysis as required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including listening.
- Demonstrated ability to align Human Resources’ initiatives to business objectives.
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills.
- Willingness for business travel.
Preferred
- Excellent understanding of Human Resources’ best practices and Labour legislation.
- Experience leading the Collective Bargaining process.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Completed Human Resources professional designation (e.g. CHRP, CHRM, etc.) is an asset.
