What you’ll do:

 

Here is a sample of what your workday may look like:

 

Expediting

  • Track and expedite the delivery of equipment and materials required for the NEBC project.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and project teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and suppliers/logistics providers. Address and resolve any issues related to the delivery or quality of equipment and materials.
  • Monitor and report on the status of equipment and material orders, including potential delays or issues.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with project specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure equipment and materials meet project specifications and standards upon delivery.
  • Arrange for inspections and certifications as required.
  • Support the project team with any additional tasks related to equipment and material logistics as needed.

 

Purchasing support

  • Support the Supply Chain project specialists with contract administration including document management, meeting minutes and drafting of contracts and amendments
  • Create purchase orders as requested by the Senior Specialists.
  • Assists with the supplier qualification process.
  • Validates and reconciles supplier invoice issues, and other payment documents as required.

What you bring:

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in expediting, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the oil and gas industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

 

Preferred

  • Proficient in using expediting and project management software.
  • May require extended hours depending on project demands
