We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Summer Student to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:

 

  • Working onsite at a gas processing facility; interacting daily with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
  • Analyzing facility diagrams to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
  • Walking down engineering requests to develop project scope.
  • Searching the drawing database for applicable documentation.
  • Developing draft engineering work packages to support the engineering team.
  • Reviewing completed engineering QC documentation.

What you bring:

Required

  • Enrolled in a mechanical engineering co-op program, preferably in the 2nd year or higher.
  • Proficient in using desktop tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

 

Preferred

  • Familiarity with schematic drawings (P&ID, PFD) is an asset.

Salary Range:

$54,080 - $66,560. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the student's field and year of study. 

 

Comments:

This position has the potential to go from 4 months to 8 months (May 2026 - December 2026) to support McMahon's turnaround execution.
