We are actively recruiting for the role Analyst, ERP Applications. Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Applications, this role will be responsible for supporting the implementation and sustainment of the end-to-end process and systems deliverables for the SAP MM and PM modules.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The Systems Business Analyst for SAP PM/MM role requires strong technical-functional SAP knowledge and expertise across multiple business functional areas
  • Work closely with NorthRiver Midsteam Procurement and Operations Business Teams to triage, prioritize and implement systems and/or process solutions
  • Support the implementation and sustainment of the end-to-end process and systems deliverables for the SAP MM and PM modules
  • Provide strong technical, architectural, application change leadership to Applications Teams
  • Participate in and drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizations or automations to produce Business value
  • Recognize and improve the company's use of the SAP System, using best practice and standard delivered solutions
  • Provide operational systems support for the system solutions in a steady-state environment
  • Understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into system requirements, configurations and customizations
  • Design, configure and test system projects/changes to drive value and support Business requirements
  • Monitor technical delivery for Team and aid in the testing of reports, extensions and customizations
  • Development and maintenance of documentation, including requirements gathering documentation, functional design documents, test scripts, training materials
  • Provide or participate in training of Business Team members on the system processes
  • Conduct unit testing, functional and system integration testing, both functional and security, and triaging system deficiencies when they occur

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Related Bachelor’s degree and/or professional designation with 10+ years’ of directly related support and configuration experience in ERP applications with experience across multiple Business Areas including EAM, SCM
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA leveraging suite of Fiori applications
  • Demonstrated strong ERP Technical and Functional skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead or manage change
  • Experience supporting or leading process improvement
  • Ability to develop, debug and troubleshoot SAP technologies
  • Thorough understanding of related master data and integration points with other SAP processes such as procurement, asset management and time management
  • Effective Communication skills; listens carefully to others, keeps others informed and convey facts and information clearly in written communications
  • Relates well to others by readily involving others as appropriate to accomplish individual and group goals and willingly offers help or assistance to others as needed
  • Understands and solves problems by collecting sufficient information and using logic when making decisions or taking action
  • Demonstrates awareness of the business and work group’s key priorities and aligns own activities with the work group’s goals
  • Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness while demonstrating a willingness to implement new ideas within acceptable boundaries
  • Shows respect and establishes trust by treating others fairly and acting consistently with stated polices, regulations and practices.  Admit Mistakes, protects confidential information and follows through on commitments
  • Proven critical thinking capabilities (analytical, gathering information, collecting data, escalating problems with recommended solutions, foresee barriers and recommends ways to remove them)
  • Very strong computer skills (MS Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Preferred:

  • SAP Experience across 3 or more customer implementations with at least one as S/4 HANA & Fiori
  • Experience with other SAP solutions such as SAP FieldGlass, SAP BTP/CPI Integration, SAP QM, SAP Workflow, SAP IDOCs
